Bloc Party remixes Chromeo

The poppy electric-laced foursome of Bloc Party have released another script in their long-winded round of musical remixed tracks- this time with Chromeo’s “Needy Girl”. Dubbed “Needy Girl (High School Prom Remix)”, the song is just one of the many versions Chromeo has allowed to be tweaked from their Needy Girl EP.

Chromeo, best known for their Prince-esque synth drums and twangy bass as well as their romancing early-90s R&B lyrics, released Fancy Footwork last June, which was soon followed by various tailing EPs. The bringing back of this old school sound (and video) alone is worth a quick watch.
