Athlete: The Outsiders EP Announced

Submitted by admin on May 4, 2008 – 7:35 pmNo Comment

Athlete has been scorned by most critics this past year for sounding too much like Coldplay (whatever that means now), but we still love em’ and are anticipating The Outsiders EP, which was just announced this past week.

Amazingly, its not a bunch of remixes of their song “The Outsiders” from Beyond The Neighbourhood, which came out this past year. In fact, I only know two of these tracks, and so should you – “Flying Over Bus Stops” was actually one of my top picks from this album, so I’m looking forward to these new ones planted in the middle of this EP to compliment two tracks at least I know I enjoyed from BTN.

The Outsiders EP will be available on June 23rd in the UK.

Here’s the tracklisting:
1) The Outsiders (Radio Edit)
2) Best Not To Think About It
3) Shades On
4) Plain English
5) Flying Over Bus Stops (Live at Cambridge Corn Exchange)
