VH1 Rock Honors The Who

Submitted by admin on June 30, 2008 – 1:11 pmNo Comment

Even if seeing one of the most legendary groups of all time doesn’t tickle your fancy, the lineup for the third annual VH1 Rock Honors Weekend should produce a few more beats per minute in your chest.

Yes, the honorees for this weekend to remember are none other than one of the U.K.’s original rock and roll molders- The Who. The event, sponsored by Sprint, is scheduled to run from July 10-14 with other big names playing such as Pearl Jam, The Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters, Tenacious D and Incubus.

For those that can’t attend the taping at UCLA’s Pauley Pavillion (7/12), make sure to tune to VH1 on July 17th at 9 p.m. ET for the nationally televised rock festival.

Also, make sure to check out The Who online, where you can pick up an exclusive live double CD, way cool free t-shirt, as well as gain access to other Wholigan mania.
