Video: Keane - "Spiralling"

Sure, by now Keane has leaked all over the place and tainted your ears with their latest "Spiralling". Let me get this straight, I don't mean tainted in the bad fashion, but if you're a die hard Keane fan, your tastes are getting skewed as the years pass as Keane's latest album takes quite a turn with their pop-infected single "Spiralling".
But perhaps their upcoming album Perfect Symmetry will be just as much of a change as Under the Iron Sea was from their best work to date, Hopes and Fears. Sure, "Is It Any Wonder?" couldn't have been any worse the first time I heard it, then over time got better an better. This is where great albums shine, when the band moves away from what is expected and does something like "Spiralling". I'll admit, I'm still not too keen on the song after hearing it now for a month, but maybe things will change.
Keane's new album Perfect Symmetry is due out October 14th on Interscope. You can preview "Spiralling" on iTunes right here.

I totally did not "get" Spiralling the first 20 times I listened to it. And then I heard the album version and it got tolerable. So maybe that'll help. You can stream the album on last.fm.
Yeah, you're right. Now that I've heard the whole thing a few times, its tolerable since it fits with the rest of their album. Their catchiest song right now for me is "Better Than This".
