Dr. Dog visits Amoeba Records, interviews, plays

Philadelphia’s Dr. Dog didn’t strike MUF’s interest right when they released Fate. Thanks to a few friends who instantly fell for their earnestly composed rummaging folk sound, we dialed their number once more and found what we were missing.

Headed by the T-names of Taxi (vocals, guitar), Tables (bass, vocals),Text (keyboards, guitar/vocals), Trouble (drums), and Thanks (guitar, vocals), Dr. Dog strung together an almost jittery energy and a foreboding omen into Fate. A sound that says,”Who are these guys?” Check out the video of the group playing and interviewing at Amoeba Records, and if that doesn’t do it, tour dates are below.
