Mute Math Perform “Spotlight” On Jay Leno

This is a late post for this performance. but rightly so. We really couldn’t find a video anywhere else of Mute Math’s “Spotlight”, which was performed on January 15th on the Jay Leno Show.
The video below isn’t in great quality, but if you’ve been rummaging around the Internet for it, this is the best we could find. Seems NBC has their hands on YouTube deleting any reproduction of this video. No need to adjust your volume, whoever recorded this turns up the volume about 20 seconds into their shaky recording. Bear with us, this isn’t great quality, but we’re excited for what’s next to come from the band. Neither their official website or MySpace has given much to read about since their vlog on YouTube this past year.

I remember that night. The video was recorded by a MM fan on the east coast who was reading our facebook comments here on the west coast, wishing we could see it sooner than 3 hours later. Which of course this person apoloized for the poor quality.
[...] It certainly won’t be that long since their album drops on August 18th, 2009. Presale for their album is actually tomorrow (July 19th) through Live Nation. You can also listen to their latest track “The Nerve”, which has been the only peek we’ve gotten since they unveiled “Spotlight” on the Twilight Soundtrack or Spotlight EP. If you haven’t yet seen their video for “Spotlight” you can check it out here or you can see them play it live right here. [...]
