Since music takes up most of our free time and is half-heartedly traced to many movies that slip by us, its no wonder we’re a dollar short and a day late when it comes time to realizing the song in the background to the Away We Go trailer. To our surprise, it seems the rest of the world may finally be catching up and appreciating “Fall Into Place” by Apartment. One of our top songs of 2007.

We haven’t seen the movie yet, and am not sure if we plan to, but browsing through a few of the trailers looking for the right one playing this song, it would almost seem like this may be another soundtrack like that of Garden State… To our dismay, the album doesn’t cut it and isn’t even close to that caliber. Not only does it not include Apartment on it, but its also overloaded with songs by Alexi Murdoch. No offense to Alexi, but some diversification could have done some justice. Oh well…

The Velvet Underground and Bob Dylan are also featured on this soundtrack.
