Ignore The Ignorant Announced By The Cribs

Submitted by Justin on June 21, 2009 – 5:54 pmNo Comment

thecribsThe Cribs‘ fourth album unifies personal experience with the quirky rock fans of the group have come to expect.

Much like their latest work, Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever, the foursome of Ryan Jarman (vocals, guitar), Gary Jarman (bass, vocals) Ross Jarman (drums) and Johnny Marr (guitar) lends nonchalant quips and quick guitar play to draw each song to the next.

Although the title Ignore the Ignorant might speak a political message for some, the album is hardly referencing the British National Party obtaining a seat in the European Parliament elections.  Take a look at the tracklisting and you will see no current theme that links this in there.

The album, which was produced by Nick Launay (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire),  will release on September 7 under Wichita Recordings.  For breaking info on CDs, LPs, remixes and the more, check out the label’s site.
