This week’s releases feature none other than the well-known English band Kasabian, featuring Tom Meighan at the helm.  For those who do not know Kasabian, they have fared quite well overseas since the early 2000′s with popular songs such as “Empire” or “Club Foot“.  With their latest release West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (released on June 8th), the band’s versatile composition of songs makes them appealing for those who enjoy some innovative new-age rock.

Also this week, Dirty Projectors are out with Bitte Orca off of Domino Records.  The DPs have been touted as one of this years band’s to look forward to by more than just one resource in the blogosphere.
