A somewhat shorter list this week than we expected, but a few really bright spots, nonetheless.  Wilco, who wowed us with “Impossible Germany” off of their Sky Blue Sky album from 2007, returns with their latest, Wilco (The Album).

For us, Meese shocked us a bit this week.  We don’t generally fall into the pop rock chasm, but the Denver group shows real promise on stage and over the radio.

Moby releases this week as well with Wait For Me, an album dripping with his eloquent ambient charm.
