New Album Releases For Tuesday 7/7/2009
The artists releasing this week caused us to do double takes. From The Rural Alberta Advantage (above) to Cass McCombs to Stellastar, a well-rounded week of music lies ahead.
For fans of Vampire Weekend and Ra Ra Riot, this week could be your week. First and foremost, Discovery, compiled of Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and Ra Ra Riot’s Wes Miles, has the duo flexing their electronic pop muscles with LP. For anyone wondering the gist of this album, check out their site where you can streak the whole album.
On shorter note, Anthem In’s The Cloudbusting EP excites us. As a group we have been following since the release of “Down”, this extended play fits right into our precious playlist space. Also, Owen continues to deliver calming acoustic music with The Seaside EP.
