Video: Burn The Negative – Low

Submitted by Justin on July 2, 2009 – 3:56 pmOne Comment

Last year iTunes featured Sam Sparro’s “Black and Gold” as a free song of the week. Just recently we have been catching wind of a group perhaps even more deserving of some attention – Burn The Negative.

For anyone craving some new wave electro-rock, the Carlisle, UK group released their latest album, In the Atmosphere,  earlier this week off of Gung Ho! Recordings.  The video for “Low” caught our attention not because of the great 1,000 different camera angles of lead man Mark Baker’s face or the guitars with no plugs, but by what we heard.

Much like an ’80s back-and-forth skittish dance tune, it’s catchy, makes us shy when we have the windows down in the summer and keeps us coming back.  The group will be heading around England this summer, so make sure to check out their tour and festival dates here.
