Labor Day Weekend Mix 2009
Labor Day!!! The holiday where we celebrate our jobs (or just our labors in general for those currently job-seeking) by throwing one last hurrah for the summer whether it be downloading the new Fifa Soundtrack or just grilling some hot dogs. Labor Day afterall is meant to recognize you, the hard-working taxpayers of our economy, so celebrate this weekend in your own unique or lazy way.

owl city was almost too catchy for it’s own good. but i’ve always had a soft spot for pinback…i still can’t get ‘good to sea’ out of my head.

but the track that sticks with me and has for months is that damned remix of Kings of Leon by RAC. damn, i’ve never even wanted to like KOLeon, but this remix has made me a fan, even if only of this song. so thanks.

Owl City Fireflies is probably my favorite song on this list. I liked it so much that I arranged it for orchestra. Some of the others are pretty good too – like Youth Group!
