This week’s list is quite short, and justly so as we begin to melt down this year’s songs into one perfectly sculpted list of our top songs for this year as well as our best albums of this year.  More of that to come in the next few weeks.

The biggest name and most attractive listen is Animal Collective’s Fall Be Kind EP out this week.  We fell for their last album Merriweather Post Pavilion and am sure this one will do the same.

If you’re not too into Neil Young, then perhaps you’re into pop punk.  This week’s release of We The Kings’ Heaven Can Wait has made some noise and should be a good listen through.

Lastly, we won’t talk about Lifehouse, but we recommend checking out Honest Engines Captain’s Log EP.  Truly, this year is the year of  the EP.  Enjoy this week!  We’ll have some Christmas music for you soon…
