Explosions In The Sky: New Album Details + Tour Dates
What a fantastic week, what with a few great Spring albums on their way, SXSW news to begin tomorrow and Explosions In The Sky‘s new album due out in April. This will be EITS’ fifth studio album (not including the Friday Night Lights Soundtrack). Their 2011 album is called Take care, take care, take care and is due out on April 26, 2011 under Temporary Residence (tour dates and album art further down).
The Tracklist will be as follows:

Hello everyone,
A few things to announce on this fine March day…. There is a new song from our new album for you to listen to (you can download it on the opening page). It is called “Trembling Hands.” Starting today you can pre-order the new album here. Also on the opening page there are a few pictures to give you some sense of Esteban Rey’s artwork for the new album. Hopefully it is not too much to say that we think the artwork is beautiful and we are super-excited about it and the packaging.
We also have a few new shows to announce: April 30th in LA at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and May 1st in Oakland at the Fox Theater. There will be a presale for the Oakland show and you can get tickets here. password: bakesale No, we don’t know why the password is bakesale.
