Handful of Remixes – March (Pt. 2)
Back by popular demand is Part 2 of March’s ‘Handful of Remixes’. If you missed Part 1, you can check it out here.
Featured this week we can’t tell you how much we enjoy Lykke Li’s “Little Bit”, remixed by CSS. Although her new album Wounded Rhymes (released 3/1/11) didn’t really stick with us, she’s still quite remixable.
Also this week is Friends Electric who we featured last week. Their single “Something You Should Know” will be released April 4th on The Blue Team. The Answering Machine has been on everyone’s playlists and we jumped on board with them back in 2008. The remix below is from a few years ago, but in case you missed it, it’s pretty darn good. The group has been putting out even better and better music and second album Lifeline (released 2/20/11) is sure to please. These guys also had the pleasure of heading to SXSW and touring extensively in 2011. Keep your eye on them!
The Weeknd also released their House Of Balloons Mixtape, which you can download in full completely free on their website right here.
Also this week is a remix by one of our favorite groups, Your Vegas, which the band released as a free remix at the end of 2010. Your Vegas should have some release news soon, but all we know is their album has been mixed and is ready to be released. Lastly, check out Uh Huh Her, one group who’s been on repeat recently. They are also coincidentally our Song of the Week.
