Hurricane Bells Release Live Album, Mix New Tracks

By on 03/16/2011 – 1:19 PMNo Comment

On March 1, 2011 one of our more favorite groups Hurricane Bells released a live album named Live At The House Of Blues San Diego (iTunes).  The album marks the band’s second album to date after Steve Schiltz’s transition from the beloved Longwave back in 2009.  The live album includes mostly all songs from HB’s debut album Tonight Is The Ghost (which gave a 9.1/10 here), with the exception of their fantastic track from the Twilight: New Moon Soundtrack called “Monsters” and one new song, “Let’s Go”.  Hurricane Bells also released an EP called Here Comes The Rain last year.  If you haven’t yet picked that up, check out here on iTunes.

Schiltz also mentions he’s mixing songs on the side including a new song he’s working on “Before I’m Gone”, which you can check out below.  We also threw in a nice bedroom rockout from last year’s SXSW to get you back in the mood for all of the music this week down South.

You can buy Hurricane Bells new live album here on iTunes.
