Athlete Strips Down Sound, Plans UK Tour
Athlete‘s lead man Joel Pott will receive extra attention as the group plans to simmer things down as the British group has scheduled a stripped-down tour throughout the UK. This British band occasionally dabbles with synthesized beats in their album, but the live show has traditionally centered around Pott and the backing of melodic drums and a wiry electric guitar.
After seeing these guys in Philly last year, we highly recommend seeing them even if the synth beats aren’t there. The UK tour begins in July and dates can be found below.
