Handful of Remixes – June
As June ends and July is on its way (which will surely bring on a slew of more remixes), we have to pull out the mop to clean up all of the remixes we’ve come across over the last month worth listening to. This last month several songs hit hard, particularly Uphill Racer’s Remix of Phoenix’s “Lasso”. Phoenix’s album ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” came out in 2009, but this remix might be perhaps my favorite remix of the lot.
Of course Keane was thrown into the mix for a bit of familiarity if you’re not prone to exploring, but if you feel like skipping ahead to some of the best tracks on here, you have to check out Jakwob‘s “Right Beside You”. Another favorite over the course of the past month (or two) is Chromeo‘s “Hot Mess”. The remix of this track by Amtrac really hits me right.
We’ve also got City and Colour remixed by The Bird Suit, Strange Talk, Apparat‘s new track “Ash Black Veil” remixed by Amtrac and more. Enjoy this small handful of remixed songs from June!
