Memory Tapes (AKA Dayve Hawk) has been growing quickly on us since we featured “Wait In The Dark” in our Weekend Burn about a month ago (see our Weekend Burn archive here).  Since this time, we’ve realized how remixable Hawk’s music was and to no surprise, did we find not only Memory Tapes remixed by multiple well-known DJs, but that our boy Dayve did quite a few himself.

In the list below, you’ll notice yet another Phoenix remix.  If you’re interested in more of these, we just put our zip file back up for download over here (no, these are not all of the remixes from the Wolfgang Amadeus Remix Collection).  Also below is a more recent favorite of ours, Chapel Club.  Their album Palace, released in January 2011, seems to be the perfect candidate for Hawk to have a go at.  Also on this list is Yeasayer, who we all know by now along with a few groups I haven’t yet dug into such as Clare Maguire, Lions In Cages and Primary 1.  Enjoy the remixes below!
