From a person who absolutely loved Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion, the arrival of Brothertiger‘s Golden Years has an eerily similar texture.  The project of Ohio-native John Jagos hasn’t proven to be as off the wall as the oddly-named foursome of Animal Collective, but the outward reaching, spacey moments capture a bit of the zaniness that’s so damn contagious.

In anticipation of the March 27 release of Golden Years from Mush Records, Brothertiger used the talents of with Kiki Allgeier and David Ambrose to produce a spandex-friendly video for “Lovers.”
