Stream Hot Chip’s New Single “Don’t Deny Your Heart”
Hot Chip has managed to stay so relevant via 80s music methodology along side some modern knick-knacks added into their tracks. It’s to no surprise that their latest single “Don’t Deny Your Heart” sounds perfectly applicable to a teenage movie as the lightheartedness of the song is hard to swat away. In fact, this track’s most discernible feature is the Michael Jackson bubbling bass from “Thriller”. The beat is just as cheesy and outdated, but loops in quite well with Hot Chips persona as well as their overall approach to music.
An unexpected take on music is quite refreshing in this case and “Don’t Deny Your Heart” will officially be stuck in my head all weekend. If there were one artist to be dubbed “Wizard of all Casio keyboards”, Hot Chip takes the cake. Enjoy the new track via Soundcloud below.
