It’s as if the entire class was cheating.  As if the answers were passed out before the test.  As if the teacher just told them the answers, chalked them on the board and said “Make my day”.

What am I talking about?  Jethro Fox just pulled today’s folk-rock formula and masterfully used it as a tool to create “Blinding Light”, a track full of harmonies like that of Grizzly Bear, natural drum rhythms like Dan Croll and a foundation set by Fleet Foxes just a few years ago.  The formula to our musical hearts here at MUF was practically on the board and Jethro Fox certainly gets an ‘A’ here.
