Stream: School of Seven Bells’ ‘Put Your Sad Down EP’
An unexpected surprise arrived into our inbox yesterday from Vagrant Records. Wouldn’t you know it if School of Seven Bells decided “let’s just get this awesome stuff out there” and dropped a new single “Secret Days” which is part of their new EP titled Put Your Sad Down. We’re all aware of SVIIB’s Ghostory from earlier this year, which really met our expectations.
“Secret Days” offers that beautiful vocal layering we adore from Alejandra Deheza, with a tribal-type rhythm jazzed up in that unmistakable SVIIB quality. For reasons we don’t quite understand, SVIIB must have hit some creative synergy during this year’s tour and are already back at it. It would have been lovely to see a few of these songs on Ghostory, but then again we’re not complaining. And guess what – you can download the track below for free!
