Pinback has always been one for the vidual effects as we saw the last time they came to Philly.  With videos playing in the background throughout their show, you would think the duo have too much time on their hands.  Now, as Pinback kicks off their tour for Information Retrieved in Las Vegas, we’re treated to a time-lapse video of their album cover to “Proceed To Memory”.

Pinback’s album didn’t have any songs that hit us so hard that we put them in the top 100 songs of 2012, but their album as a whole is solid for the avid Pinback listener.  While “Proceed To Memory” doesn’t have much to do with this mural, other than be part of the album as a whole, the band has focused on my favorite part of it all – the album art.  In fact, the depiction here beats out Autumn of the Seraphs albeit AotS remains the better album.
