Up the Chain to Cover Hezekiah Jones at MilkBoy Coffee 5/10

Michele

Philly folk favorite Up the Chain will hit MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore this Friday May 10th.  This show is a unique one because in addition to an original set, UTC will perform the Hezekiah Jones album Have You Seen Our New Fort.

Hezekiah Jones is a group that’s also native to Philadelphia, sporting songs influenced by elements of folk, country and pop, reminiscent of Bob Dylan or Wilco.

Up the Chain also creates songs of a variety of genres, from New Orleans-inspired tunes like “Here I Haven Meet”, to the more pop-sensible “What We Were Before.”

The Griz Band and Michael Baker will also be on the bill, adding to what promises to be a stylistically-diverse evening of music.
